Ponds, waterfalls and fountains Jordan has built
This is the water feature portfolio of Jordan's Water Garden Solutions: koi ponds, pondless waterfalls and fountainscapes built around Richmond, Henrico County, Chesterfield County and Charlottesville by Jordan Blanton, an Aquascape Certified Contractor. Every photo and clip is from his own jobs. Koi ponds start at $275 per square foot, pondless waterfalls at $2,000 per linear foot, and a single fountain starts at $5,300.

Two of these projects have their own page with the before, during and after. The rest are single photos and clips from the job, and tapping one opens it full screen. Jordan adds to this page as projects finish and takes the older ones down.

Nothing in this group yet. Jordan adds projects as they finish.
Photos and clips are Jordan's own, taken on the job. Some were taken in winter or at dusk on purpose: a water feature has to look right then too.
Your yard next
Send Jordan a photo of the spot
The quickest way to find out what fits is a picture. Text a photo of the corner, the slope or the patio edge to (804) 719-4761 and say what you want to hear from the house. Jordan will tell you whether it wants a pond, a creek or a bowl, and the estimate calculator gives you a range before anyone visits.
If one of the projects above is close to what you have in mind, say which. A photo of your yard next to a photo of his work is most of a design conversation.
What to look for
Four things in every one of these photos
- No liner showing. Every inch is under boulders, cobbles or gravel, in the finished shots and in the during shots once the water is on.
- The water lands on something. A fall drops onto stone or into a pool, a bowl pours onto rock, an urn runs over slate. That landing is where the sound comes from.
- Plants in the edge. Irises, daylilies and lilies sit between the stones at the waterline, so the feature reads as a stream bed or a pond, not a stone trench.
- Seasons. A pond in deep snow with the fountain still running, a clean-out with the fish in the shallows, an urn lit at dusk. The work has to hold up in January and after dark.
